Annelida:
Scientific name: Driloeirus macelfreshi Class: Oligochaeta Description of habitat: They can grow up to 4 feet long an a inch wide. They prefers fine dirt embedded in clay that is deep and usually near water and trees. They can borrow up to 15 feet in summer and in the wet months it resurfaces to near the ground level. They eat dirt, they get nutrition from the dirt.
Facts: They are hermaphrodites which mean it has both male and female parts.They have a offspring 2-4 a year. They also are a close relative to a leach. They were also found over 540 million years ago.
Endangered: They are not endangered
